How It Works

From first conversation
to final stitch.

A complete bespoke garment takes about four hours of your time, spread across two or three visits, over four to six weeks. Here is exactly what that looks like.

Step One

The Consultation

A conversation, not a sales pitch. We sit down — over coffee if you want — and talk about your life, your work, what you already wear, what you wish you owned. I ask questions. You talk. By the end of an hour, I understand what you need and whether I'm the right person to build it.

Step Two

Fabric Selection

Touch it. Feel it. Drape it across your hand and see how it sits. I'll guide you through the options — weight, weave, color, season, and how each one behaves in the real world. You don't need to know anything about fabric to pick well. You need someone who does. That's my job.

Step Three

Measurements & Pattern

More than thirty measurements, taken in person, on your body. Every contour, every asymmetry, every slope. From these, I draft a pattern that exists for you alone. No templates, no starting point from an off-the-rack size — just your body, translated into paper, and eventually into cloth.

Step Four

First Fitting

The garment comes to life. At this stage it's basted together — not finished — so we can see how it sits and make real-time adjustments. Chalk marks. Pins. Small cuts and corrections. This is the stage where you start to see the final shape emerging, and where we refine it together.

Step Five

Final Fitting & Delivery

The moment the mirror finally agrees. Your finished garment is pressed, ready, and in front of you. You put it on. We look it over, make any last small corrections. And then it's yours. This is the quiet moment most of my clients never forget.
